They are very much in the spirit for Halloween at Chaseview care home in Staffordshire.
The decorations have been put up and the Residents always say how much they love the spooky displays!
“We have many different activities planned for this week, from making pumpkin stress balls and even a murder mystery! We are all looking forward to the celebrations, especially in a time like this,” explained Home Manager, Jennifer Khadoo.
So far, the Residents have enjoying decorating Halloween lanterns and making glow stick ghosts from upcycled milk bottles, which they have all enjoyed!
Residents loved seeing the effect of the glow sticks in the ghost milk bottles when they had decorated them. One said, “What a clever idea, I am proud of my lantern.” Some said they found it relaxing when painting their own lanterns.
Donna and Lyndsey, both carers at Chaseview, said they were both very pleased with the decorations and happy seeing Residents making their own decorations for their rooms.
