Halloween celebrations at Hodge Hill Grange
Residents at HC-One’s Hodge Hill Grange care home were delighted as they got into the spooky spirit to create some Halloween crafts throughout the week leading up to Halloween.

Arts and crafts were created, with Residents opting to create some decorations for the home’s Halloween tea party, coming together as they created a variety of items.

Relatives then joined the home to enjoy a day filled with games and activities, including bingo, quizzes, dominoes and ‘name the song’.

On the following morning, Residents and their Relatives enjoyed a coffee morning, complete with warm beverages and themed biscuits, as they admired the decorations around the home.

To finish the week wonderfully, Resident, Prudence, was delighted as she celebrated her 92nd birthday in the home alongside fellow Residents and her Relatives who presented her with various balloons and banners before singing ‘happy birthday’ to her.

Theresa Ingram-Gettins, home manager, commented: “Everyone has fully enjoyed themselves this week. Halloween excitement has brought back such fond memories for the Residents, as they reminisced and told us their favourite childhood Halloween traditions.”
