Halloween at Knowsley Manor
HC-One’s Knowsley Manor Care Home in Huyton hosted its very own Halloween party with a twist as they welcomed so very special guests to join them.

Residents  and colleagues enjoyed a special visit from Doolittles Pony therapy as part of their celebrations and Residents were over joyed to welcome back their friends.  Animal therapy is a highlight on their social calendar, with Resident Joan asking ‘Can we keep them!’

The celebrations were attended by residents’ relatives and members of the local community who joined in the fun. The home was decked out with creepy crawlies and spider web decorations and pumpkins. Staff and residents got into the spirit of the theme with their hats and outfits and enjoyed many activities including an evening of songs.

The Residents said:

“We have had a fantastic day; the girls have done us proud once again. We laughed and sang and had a wonderful time.”

Diane Bardsley, Knowsley Manor Care Home Manager, said:

“The Residents had a wonderful afternoon and there was a great atmosphere as many of our residents' families came along to join in the fun.” She continued: “A special thanks to the staff and to all the families and friends that were able to join us”
