
Lots has been going on this month at Huntingdon located care home, Manor House, this month.
Firstly, Residents have been extremely grateful for a donation of an electronic keyboard, which was kindly donated by a local 11-year-old girl.
The girl wanted to gift her unused keyboard to somebody that wished to make use of it and bring happiness to others, which she certainly has.
One of the home’s new Residents, Derek, has enjoyed reminiscing about the times he played on the local church organ. Also, Residents have been enjoying playing and listening to Colleagues play music for them.
Resident Emily said, “"Its lovely how kind people can be."
Also, this month at Manor House, the home’s Colleagues have been decorating for Halloween.
Residents are taking part in a pumpkin carving and decorating competition to raise funds for the amenities. The competition is open to everyone and the winner will be announced on the Halloween party on the 31st Residents themselves.
Residents and Colleagues will be enjoying a full afternoon and evening of games, baking, music, drinks and food.
Residents have been getting into the action with decorating the home for Halloween by decorating a Halloween tree, baubles made into pumpkins, paper mâché spiders and various arts and crafts. Residents are enjoying making decorations and decorating the home
Winnie, who is a Resident, said, “It is nice to see the decorations around”
Bhekimpilo Perelion, Home Manager, said, “Our Residents have been delighted with the donations from our local Morrison's supermarket in Cardea, where we have been given two fabulous hampers from the Community Supervisor, Sharon.”

Sharon said, "It’s a pleasure to help a home out in which has been an awful year for all, it’s nice to know were making a difference."
