Residents at HC-One’s Carr Gate care home in Wakefield were very pleased to welcome back their hairdresser back for the first time this year.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Residents at Carr Gate along with the rest of British population have been unable to have their hair done. Everyone at Carr Gate was very excited for their hairdressers highly anticipated visit, each Resident enjoyed a one-to-one pamper session and are feeling much happier now that their hair is looking beautiful.
One Resident commented: “Having my hair done makes me feel like a different person, I am so pleased we can finally see our hairdresser regularly again.”
Carr Gate Home Manager, Amy Brown said: “After a difficult year for most, it’s the smaller things in life that matter, being able to have visits from our hairdresser will have a significant impact on the wellbeing of our Residents.”
