HC-One’s Hailsham House care home Residents have been getting creative together as they painted poppies in preparation for Remembrance Day.
Everyone joined in as they painted and crafted their own designs to be displayed on the home’s walls for visitors to see.
Reminiscence was also in the air as Residents spoke about their memories of the war time, as they shared refreshments and delicious snacks with war music playing softly in the background.
Katie Brewster, home manager, commented: “Residents have enjoyed reminiscing today about the war time, painting poppies together.”
