Guisborough care home enjoys flying visit from North Yorkshire Birds of PreyResidents at Park House care home in Guisborough had a hoot as they welcomed some feathery friends to the home.

Family and friends joined Residents at the home for an afternoon with North Yorkshire Birds of Prey, which included a visit from an eagle owl, snowy owl, barn owl and little owl.

Resident Olive, who has had a lifelong love of owls, could not hold back her tears as her wish was granted to get up close to ‘the most beautiful birds in the world.’

Arthur and Harry, fellow Residents at Park House, were also delighted to welcome the special visitors, as Arthur’s wish was to see a Peregrine falcon and Harry wanted to see a Hawk.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed the visit from the Birds of Prey and will remember this afternoon for ever, it was fantastic.”
