Grosvenor House Residents are transported back in time during Railway Museum visitResidents at Grosvenor House care home in Harrogate embarked on a journey back through time as they visited the National Railway Museum in Harrogate.

A particular talking point for Residents was the old-fashioned steam trains, as many had travelled on them when they were younger.

Ken, a Resident at Grosvenor House, said: “I really enjoyed my day at the railway museum. I used to visit it regularly when I was younger but didn’t think I would ever get to come here again. It was wonderful.”

Lezlee Leahy, Wellbeing Coordinator, said: “Everyone loved the trip out to the museum together, with many Residents sparking up conversation about how trains have changed since they were younger.”
