The staff and Residents at
Grosvenor House in Harrogate which offers residential and nursing care, enjoyed a hoedown to celebrate “Country and Western Day”.
The Colleagues at the home decided to get all dressed up in cowboy hats and the kitchen Colleagues made a lovely menu of bangers and mash, Kentucky fried chicken and chilli!
The Residents really enjoyed listening to the country music and participated by singing along and the food went down very well, overall, it was a fun day had by all.
Two of the Residents remarked, “The singalong was fab” and “I had a very enjoyable day, thank you”.
Susan Nutter, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was wonderful to see all the staff and Residents getting involved, everyone really got into the spirit of things, and enjoyed themselves”.
