Grimsby care home Residents enjoy educational afternoon at Lincolnshire Life MuseumResidents at Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby enjoyed an educational journey back in time as they visited Lincolnshire Life Museum. 

The minibus journey was filled with excitement and laughter as Residents shared memories and tales of times gone by, before they turned up at their exciting first stop. 

At the museum, Residents enjoyed looking around the different displays of antique household items, clothing and accessories. 

Resident Robin enjoyed admiring the old-fashioned bikes, unicycles and prams as Jean looked at a replica parlour set-up, including beautiful paintings, crockery and a piano. 

The visit was rounded off with a trip to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch as Residents shared their favourite moments from the museum visit. 

Ann said: “I remember my grandmother had one of those washing machines, things were made to last back then.”
