Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby was delighted to welcome local folk band, The Nukuleles, for a special Christmas performance.
The Nukuleles, who are a ukulele band also based in Grimsby, visited the home to entertain the Residents with a selection of Christmas hymns and songs with a folk twist.
Residents rounded off the festive celebrations with a serving of delicious Christmas cake, which was homemade by Louise Allen, a nurse at the home, for everyone to enjoy together.
One Resident commented: “It was so refreshing to listen to the Nukuleles’ quirky folk music. I really enjoyed having a good sing-a-long to some of my favourite Christmas songs.”
Nicola Walker, Home Manager at Clarendon Hall, said: “It was lovely to have the Nukuleles visit the home and perform for our Residents once again. Everyone had a great smile on their face as they sang and danced along to the music.”
