Residents at
Greenways Court, residential and residential dementia care home in County Durham, love listening to music and were thrilled for a local choir to come along to the home.
It was arranged for Peter to come in and accompany the Residents with his fiddle. A large screen was put up in the lounge so Peter put up the words to the music he played.
Everyone sang-a-long to the music and we had a chat afterwards on the songs to be played on Peters next visit.
Catherine, one of the Residents, said, “I like to sing-along to the music with my fellow Residents and everyone agreed it was a wonderful activity and truly enjoyed the day.”
Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, added, “The Residents had a lovely afternoon singing along with Peter and the fiddle.”
