Residents at
Greenways Court, residential and residential dementia care home, in Consett, love pizza and thought they should celebrate the national day!
After the Residents and Colleagues found out that the 10th of February was National Pizza Day and thought it was only right!
An activity of making pizza was suggested by the Residents. There were a number of different toppings and everyone had different ideas on what they wanted on each of their pizzas.
All of the pizzas turned out delicious and thought they were better than the supermarket pizzas.
The Residents loved the activity and are already planning another pizza making day.
Nora, one of the Residents at Greenways Court, said, “I have never had a pizza before, but I really enjoyed it.”
Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, added, “The Residents loved making the pizzas and would love to make pizzas again soon.”
