At Consett’s
Greenways Court care home, Colleagues have hosted a pamper session for the Residents to have a little relaxation time for themselves.
Residents, including Mary Jennings, Mary Dawson, Betty Hill, May Drew and Sue Earlam, all enjoyed having their nails done and being made a fuss of while doing some relaxation activities, including jigsaws (see pictured).
Mary D said, “I have always loved to feel pampered.”
Jean, who also lives at the 51-bed residential and residential dementia care home said, “I should be going out somewhere special with such beautiful nails.”
Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, added, “Residents say that the pamper time makes them feel better in themselves, so if anyone is feeling a little under the weather, these sessions really make a difference.”
