Residents at
Greenways Court, residential and residential memory care home, in Consett, have enjoyed going back to basics.
Residents involved, Mary D, Mary J, Robin and Vince, have been on lockdown in the home. No one was going out and about, so they needed to find their own form of entertainment.
The Residents had pamper days, taking extra care of themselves. Manicures came in great demand from the Residents.
They did a patio tidy up and enjoy working together. There was lots of laughter which saved the week indoors.
Also, the Residents involved had a dance and sing-a-long. Resident Ted, said, “I love a dance.”
Robin was really happy and remarked, “I have always like manicure, and I was really pleased with the end results.”
Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, commented, “Even though it wasn’t a typical week for the Residents, they had so much fun!”
