James Sweeney, Chef at HC-One’s Merino Court care home in Greenock hosted a special Shrove Tuesday kitchen workshop for Residents on Tuesday 25th February.
Residents gathered in the dining area where James performed a demonstration, showing Residents his pancake flipping skills and his expert tips on how to make the perfect pancake. Everyone shared their thoughts on the best toppings and assisted with decorating the pancakes with a variety of toppings ready for Residents to tuck in and eat.
A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting on how much they enjoyed watching James prepare the pancakes, but everyone agreed that the highlight of the day was tasting the finished results.
