Greenacres Care Home in Meltham Receives a Heartwarming Visit from Crunchie the Shetland PonyGreenacres Care Home in Meltham hosted its most unforgettable Christmas party yet, with a surprise guest who stole the hearts of residents and their families.
Crunchie, an adorable Shetland pony, made a grand entrance alongside Santa Claus, bringing an unexpected wave of joy and excitement to the celebration.
As the party was in full swing with festive music, delicious treats, and laughter filling the air, in trotted Crunchie, to the delight of everyone in attendance.
One resident, Shiela Neal, exclaimed to staff, ‘What you do for us is just brilliant, I love it here!’
 Sarah Tomczynski, the Home Manager at Greenacres, said, ‘It’s important to everyone at Greenacres that we make events like these as special and memorable as we can for our residents and their families, and Crunchie was certainly the cherry on the cake!
‘We hope to have Crunchie back at Greenacres soon.’
Greenacres are delighted to be hosting the community coffee morning at St Bartholomews Church Hall on Saturday 22nd February from 9am. All are welcome to enjoy a tombola, raffle and cakes, bakes and treats to buy.
