Gardening plans have sprung into action at Silverwood care home in Rotherham as Residents have begun planting bulbs ready for spring and summer.
Residents decided this year that they would like more daffodils in the garden, so Silverwood staff decided to organise an afternoon of bulb planting while personalising their plant pots.
Mary said: “I love daffodils, they will really help brighten up the garden.”
Carrie Ann Davies, Home Manager at Silverwood, said: “I love that at HC-One, we empower our Residents to influence the decisions we make in the home. Our Residents are really looking forward to brightening up the garden with beautiful flowers again this year.”
