Green fingered Residents find therapy in the Garden
Each month, Residents at HC-One’s Alexander Court Care home in Sheffield enjoy a special Garden therapy group.

The latest session involved creating wheelchair friendly flower planters which meant everyone could get stuck in and enjoy the garden.

Resident, Margaret Crownshaw, commented:

“It is lovely to be out in the garden and feeling like we are doing something useful!”

The Residents loved watching the little birds relax in the bird bath and have a bite of lunch from the feeder.

Home manager, Amanda Fields, remarked:

“The garden is looking wonderful and the Residents have worked really hard on it. They enjoy being outside so much and hopefully this can continue!”
