Residents at HC-One’s Linlithgow care home in Linlithgow, West Lothian are enjoying their new weekly Gardening Club at the home.
In late March Linlithgow introduced a new Gardening Club, Residents come together every Monday morning and tend to the home’s enclosed garden area. Ten Residents are now part of the club and are enjoying getting outside and helping to maintain a beautiful garden.
The gardening group headed to their local garden centre to collect some additional supplies, on their return Residents started to pot plants, seeds and herbs as the team put up two new greenhouses.
Linlithgow Home Manager, Roger Milligan said: “It’s lovely to see our Residents making the most of the summer months, we have lots of keen gardeners so it is great that they can continue with their favourite hobbies right here in Linlithgow.”
