Green fingered Resident gives garden a makeoverHC-One’s Magna care home in Wigston has a helping hand getting their garden ready for summer from green-fingered Resident, Jim Ryland.

Jim has always been keen a gardener and even pursed it as a profession in his younger days, so he was overjoyed to get the opportunity to show off his skills in the garden at Magna care home.

He planted gladiola and daffodil bulbs, night-scented stock seeds and a variety of colourful flowers throughout the garden bed.

With help from Andrea, Jim is tending the garden every day, watering his plants and checking on their progress.

In the next couple of weeks, everyone at the home will be able to admire Jim’s hard work as the flowers begin the blossom. Jim said that it was great to be doing what he loves and sharing it with everyone at Magna.
