Residents at HC-One’s the Moat House Care Home recently enjoyed a celebration as they held a ‘vintage tea room’ themed summer garden party.
Relatives, friends and visitors attended as they tucked in to a delicious selection of homemade cakes and scones, as well as various refreshments all served in vintage cups and saucers.
During the party, fierce competition broke out as everyone took part in a quiz. A group of Residents were proud to have won the quiz, whilst Relatives stated it was one of the hardest quizzes they had encountered.
The warm weather helped to make the day even better as the sun beamed down on the home.
Hedvig Nemeth, Home Manager, commented: “Today has been wonderful. Residents have enjoyed the summer weather and spending time socialising with friends and Relatives.”
