Gravesend care home Resident enjoys the sound of Elton John
HC-One’s Wombwell Hall care home Resident, Alice, has always been a great fan of Elton John, so was delighted to have received a surprise from Colleagues at the home when she was able to see a tribute act in theatre.

Alice travelled with the home’s Colleague John to the local theatre where she was able to experience the lively atmosphere and melodies of Elton John.

As Alice is sight impaired, John was able to sit and describe every aspect of the stage performance, especially the costumes worn by the tribute act, which was thoroughly appreciated by Alice.

The performance was enjoyed so much that Alice remarked how her ‘dreams had come true’ as she cried with excitement at the wonderful surprise.

Cathrine Veerigadu, home manager, commented: “This surprise has been wonderful for Alice to experience, it is so special for us to make our Residents happy like this, sharing kindness at all times.”
