Residents at HC-One’s Woodside Court Care Home in Glenrothes flew the Scottish flag with pride as they celebrated St Andrew’s Day with live entertainment and themed nibbles.
The home threw a Scottish celebration on Friday 30th November enabling Residents, families and the community to come together to enjoy the National day.
In true patriotic fashion, Residents and staff wore their favourite or family’s tartan including hats, kilts and scarves, whilst enjoying a home baking session making Scottish flag biscuits. Select Entertainers provided the entertainment and all of the Residents and visitors enjoyed a good old sing along.

“It is very important for us to respect and encourage traditions and we knew a day of importance, such as this for our Scottish Residents, was worthy of a celebration.
“The celebration was enjoyable for everyone that attended and the Residents particularly enjoyed welcoming guests into their home.”
