HC-One’s Woodside Court in Glenrothes, Fife received enjoyed a filled with sunshine, entertainment and arts to celebrate the seventh annual Care Home Open Day.
Care Home Open Day is a national event that gives local people the opportunity to learn more about the care services at the heart of their community.
This year’s theme was ‘Celebrating Art in Care,’ with HC-One launching a national Art Competition to encourage, Residents, their loved ones, colleagues and neighbours to unleash their creativity and design their own masterpiece.
Residents, visitors and members of the care team were joined by independent arts and crafts company, Creative Mojo, who helped create some beautiful art pieces which were displayed throughout the home on Care Home Open Day.
Woodside Court Home Manager, Beba Graham said: “I would thank to thank everyone who attended our Care Home Open Day celebrations. It means so much to our Residents to come together with the local community and it was great for everyone to explore their creative side with this year’s theme.”
