HC-One’s Quayside care home in Yoker, Glasgow is celebrating the union of two of its team members, Emma Houliston, Staff Nurse and Sharon Woods, Clinical Service Manager who married at House for an Art Lover on Friday 4th October.
Emma and Sharon met in December 2017 via a dating website, the pair soon hit it off and their relationship went to the next level when they got engaged and bought a house together. The couple tied the knot surrounded by friends and family with TV personality, Carol Knight (Carol Smillie) as the celebrant who conducted the wedding.
As a surprise for the newlyweds, the team at Quayside arranged to bring two Residents, Margaret Richardson and Billy Blake, to watch the ceremony. Emma commented: “I can’t believe you brought them here, this is wonderful.”
Colleagues from Quayside later joined the couple for their evening celebrations and gave their best wishes before the new Mrs and Mrs Woods jetted off on their honeymoon to sunny Florida.
One Resident commented: “The brides looked beautiful and it was a privilege to be part of their special day.”
