Residents from HC-One’s Darnley Court care home in Glasgow were invited by their local Sainsbury’s shop to celebrate the shops 150th birthday.
The staff at Sainsbury’s organised a wonderful event, with delicious food and good music, Residents enjoyed chatting with the team at the shop and enjoying the all of the celebrations.
One Resident had admired all of the flowers on the way in to the shop and a kind hearted member of the team at Sainsbury’s presented her with a beautiful bouquet to take back to Darnley Court for her room.
Darnley Court Home Manager, Katy Jenks commented: “The kindness shown by each person at Sainsbury’s was truly heart-warming, it meant to so much to our Residents to be involved in such a wonderful community event and we are so grateful to have been invited.”
