Residents at HC-One’s Highgate care home in Glasgow recently created some wonderful 2021 calendars, with a picture of themselves on the front, to send to their loved ones to use next year.
Colleagues at Highgate recently came up with the idea for Residents to create a personalised calendar with a photo of themselves on the front so that they could send it to their loved ones to use next year. When Residents first heard of the idea, they couldn’t wait to get started and show their family and friends what they had created.
Residents enjoyed getting pamper on the day of the photoshoot and enjoyed posing in front of the camera even more. Jim Stevenson, a Resident at Highgate joked, “I could get used to all of this.”
Christina, who is a volunteer at the home was fantastic with the camera and took some great photos of Residents all spruced up and looking beautiful. Whilst waiting for the photos to print, Care Assistant Karen Clelland at Highgate organised all of the calendars for postage as Janine Boyle, Highgate’s activities coordinator made finishes touches to the Christmas themed frame.
