Glasgow care home Residents celebrate Mother’s DayLadies at HC-One’s Wyndford Locks care home in Glasgow enjoyed celebrating Mothering Sunday on March 22nd together despite the UK coronavirus outbreak restricting visitors to the home.

Spirits were still high at Wyndford Locks on Mother’s Day as Residents enjoyed phone calls with their children and opening their cards and gifts which had been sent to the home. Later in the day, everyone in the home came together for a special afternoon tea followed by music which had Residents up singing and dancing.

One Resident commented: “It was still a lovely day, I spoke with my family and spent the day celebrating with everyone in the home.”

Wyndford Locks Home Manager, Karen Watson said: “I am so pleased that our Residents were still able to enjoy Mother’s Day during these uncertain times, the smiles on their faces were heart-warming.”
