HC-One’s Darnley Court care home in Glasgow celebrated all of the wonderful ladies at the home as they celebrated Mothering Sunday with loved ones.
The team at Darnley Court put on a day of activities for Residents at the home, in honour of the annual day, which gives children and grandchildren the opportunity to say thank you to important maternal figures in their life.
Mothering Sunday is a Christian holiday traditionally observed as a day when people would return home to visit their ‘mother’ church in the 16th century and worship with their loved ones. The date changes every year and is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent.
The local Co-Op also donated flowers to the home as special Mother’s Day gift for everyone at Darnley Court, which was greatly appreciated by all of the Residents and team.
