The team at Glanffrwd care home in Bridgend has donated a hamper filled with essentials to help the homeless in the local community.
Staff donated a selection of food, toiletries and clothing to the home’s donation box, which will help the homeless community in Bridgend, particularly in the winter months when nights are colder.
One Resident commented: “The staff made such a great effort to help the homeless, it’s such a lovely thing to do.”
Joan Thomas, Home Manager at Glanffrwd, said: “As HC-One is all about kindness in care, we thought we would show some kindness to the people less fortunate than us. We really hope our efforts can make a big difference to the Bridgend community.”
