Today all the flags were put out ready for Residents’ families to begin visiting their loved ones.
Covid protections are all in place and the first of the visitors arrived. The home experienced tears aplenty but safe distancing was always observed.
In particular, Resident Pearl and her family were so happy to be reunited. The next visit will include Pearl’s latest great granddaughter whom she has only seen twice due to lockdown; something Pearl is really looking forward to.
One Relative commented how wonderful it was not to have to wave through a window anymore.
Home Manager, Julie Jones, said, “This is a day we have been working towards for a long time, and it was such a huge success. Thank you to everyone involved”.
