Georgetown care home enjoys delicious dinner at Bracelet BayResidents at The Daffodils care home in Georgetown were delighted to join the Cwm Taf Choir for a trip and delicious dinner at Swansea’s scenic Bracelet Bay.

Part of the Alzheimer’s Society, Cwm Taf Choir is a stimulating and enjoyable musical group activity for local people in the early to moderate stages of dementia. A number of Residents from The Daffodils attend the group every Thursday.

The Bracelet Bay trip was a special treat from the choir, after one of the members fundraised more than £600 for Alzheimer’s Society by mountain-climbing.

Residents were delighted to embark on the journey to Bracelet Bay in the glorious sunshine, where they enjoyed a delicious meal at the Castellamare restaurant with fantastic views of the bay.

One Resident commented: “I had such a perfect evening.”

Janine Marouf, Home Manager at The Daffodils, said: “The Cwm Taf Choir sessions are one of the most popular activities with our Residents at The Daffodils, so we were truly honoured to have been invited to the lovely meal at Bracelet Bay.”
