A Resident at Berry Hill Park care home in Mansfield has shown her kindness and support to the local community by making handmade gifts for homeless people in the area.
Jean Lowe, who is a long-term Resident at the home, has put her knitting skills to the test to make a number of gloves and blankets for the homeless community in the Mansfield area.
Jean said: “Although I am not able to give money to such worthy causes, I am still able to give my time – which I have plenty of these days.”
Sally Tebbett, Home Manager at Berry Hill Park, said: “Jean is a thoughtful and kind lady, who never ceases to amaze us with the support she provides to other people. Her gesture to the homeless community in the area is truly amazing.”
