Residents at HC-One’s Springfield House care home in Low Fell, Gateshead enjoyed a lovely afternoon of poetry reciting on Wednesday 2nd October.
Noreen, a keen poet from Ponteland visited Springfield House to recite some of her poems for Residents, everyone enjoyed listening to Noreen’s work and talking about her different pieces.
One Resident, Brenda, is also a poetry fan and was inspired to read some of her work to the group, everyone was very impressed by the work of both ladies and commented on how much they enjoyed listening to all of the different poems.
Kay Rudd, Home Manager at Springfield House commented: “What a lovely afternoon, Residents enjoyed the poetry session and are hoping to welcome Noreen again very soon to listen to more of her work.”
