The team at HC-One’s Springfield House in Low Fell, Gateshead, took part in the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk from Baltic in Gateshead on 13th October.
Eleven members of the team from Springfield House took part in the 5-mile Alzheimer’s walk from Baltic Square, around the Quayside and Newcastle City Centre to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Over £200 was raised by the team at Springfield House – congratulations everyone!
Resident Yvonne Chicken, whose daughter took part in the walk, commented:
“It was a great cause to raise money for, the staff did great!”
Jack Parker, Wellbeing Co-Ordinator at Springfield House commented:
“It was such a worthy cause to walk for; we really enjoyed the night time walk.”
