HC-One’s Redesdale Court Care Home in North Shields, Tyne and Wear have been taking full advantage of the weather by carrying out a spot of gardening.
The home recently bought some lavender and some new pots for the garden of their Grace Unit and Resident Shirley Nugent jumped at the chance to help plant them.
As they worked, Shirley enjoyed reminiscing with Lucy Callaghan, Redesdale Courts Senior Administrator, about gardening with her parents when she was younger.
A great time was had by all with Shirley commenting:
“That was so much fun, thank you for letting me help!”
