Over the last couple of weeks at
Bankwood care home in Derbyshire, which offers residential and nursing care, Residents have been contributing to getting their garden in shape for the HC-One gardening competition.
Due to the scenic gardens the home already has, it was just a case of adding some new plants and some colour to the gardens.
Tracy and Lynne, two Residents at the home, had put in some hard work to get the garden into a winnable condition. They said, “We are pleased to enter the competition with an array of beautiful flower arrangements”. Other Residents have commented on how much they love the garden this year.
Izeta Hamza, the Home Manager has thanked them for their hard work saying, “The work they have done is amazing, thank you so much it looks beautiful”.
