Garden makeover at Nottinghamshire homeStoneyford in Sutton-in-Ashfield, which provides both residential and residential memory care, completed their makeover in the garden today.

Residents and staff have been busy at work, getting their green fingers on over the last couple of weeks. Stoneyford has a lovely buzz around the home with Resident’s suggestions and getting to work in creating a lovely garden for all to use.

The Residents had been working hard to replant all the flowers, painting where it was needed, sweeping up and making the garden as accessible as possible for all to use. This has prompted them to enter the annual garden competition and they have high hopes in swooping the top prize!

Celia, who is one of the Residents had said “It’s a lovely garden and we are just putting on the finishing touches, it feels fantastic to be involved with these sort of things”.

Linda, the Home Manager had said that “I adore seeing Residents getting involved with the running and make up of the home. It creates purpose and gives a lovely sense of teamwork”.
