Residents, Relatives and Colleagues were delighted to have raised a fantastic £102.50 for charity as Sandon care home in Mossley hosted a MacMillan Coffee Morning.
Guests brought many homemade treats with them, including beautifully-decorated cakes, biscuits and buns.
The home was decorated in the charity’s colours of purple and green as Colleagues hung bunting and balloons around the room.
The local community was also invited to join in with the event, as children from the local primary school even attended to sing for the Residents.
Ethel, a Resident at Sandon, said: “Oh I love it when the children come to visit. It brings back wonderful memories of when my son was little.”
