Fundraising success as Grimsby care home hosts MacMillan coffee morningClarendon Hall care home in Grimsby was delighted to raise a fantastic £110 at its MacMillan Coffee Morning. 

Colleagues, Residents and their loved ones at Clarendon Hall put on their chefs hats and aprons to donate a variety of sweet treats to the cause.

Local singer Janet Sadler visited the home to perform a number of classic hits, as Residents sang, danced and clapped along. 

Residents enjoyed the cakes on offer, while many guests competed in the ‘Guess how many berries are in the pie’ competition, with Nursing Assistant Michelle Hepton winning the teddy bear prize. 

Pam, a Resident at Clarendon Hall, said: “It was absolutely wonderful.” 

Hayley, Wellbeing Coordinator, said: “Everybody that attended the event thoroughly enjoyed it and the cakes certainly went down a treat. It was a great success in support of such a fantastic cause.”
