Fundraising at Chapel Level care homeEmma, a Girlguiding Ranger has fundraised an excellent amount for Chapel Level, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Fife.

In order to complete her Rangers Gold Award, Emma had to hold a fundraising activity for a local organisation or group in the community.

Emma, decided to raise funds for Chapel Level care home. Her challenge was do as many steps as possible in 14 days. She managed to walk just under 200,000 steps and raised £180. The money raised has gone towards the Chapel Level Residents activity fund.

Residents really enjoyed meeting Emma and talking about the number of steps she managed to do.

By completing this challenge, Emma has gained her Girlguiding Rangers Gold Award. 

Emma has now started working at Chapel Level as the Weekend Covid Coordinator. She enjoys spending time with the Residents. 

One Resident, said, “This was a very thoughtful thing to do for us. Well done on completing your Girlguiding Gold Rangers Award.”

Biba Graham, Care Home Manager, added, “Residents are putting their thinking caps on to decide what they can buy with the donated money.”
