Residents, family and friends got into the festive spirit at Bankwood’s Christmas Fayre, which was hosted at the Derbyshire-based care home.
Lisa, the Kitchen Assistant at the home, put the cherry on top of the cake at the fayre by baking a mouth-watering cake, which was submitted as a prize for the lucky winner who guessed the mystery filling of the cake correctly.
Theo, a young visitor at the fayre, correctly guessed that the cake was filled with Smarties inside, and deservingly took the cake home to enjoy with his family.
The festivities were enjoyed by Residents, family and staff at Bankwood, with all money raised being contributed to the home’s Residents Fund.
Theo commented: “We really enjoyed our cake! It was so yummy!”
