Residents at HC One’s Knowles Court care home have been busy playing fun games and taking part in exercise activities.
There’s been a lot going on at the Bradford care home this month, including Ascot day which was a great success. The Residents enjoyed taking part in some ‘betting’ on some horses and there was plenty of prizes to be won too.
Everybody dressed up for the Ascot day event, and there was lots of tasty food and drinks for everyone, it was a fantastic day.
One Resident said “brilliant day, I won a fair bit”, whilst another commented “when are we having another one?”
The Residents have also been taking part in some balloon badminton to keep fit and have fun. There has also been a ‘wake and shake’ exercise club taking place each morning to get the Residents ready for the day!
The deputy home manager said “the wellbeing team are trying their best to come up with a variety of new ideas to keep our Residents entertained.”
