Fruit punch goes down a treat at Newton Aycliffe Care HomeResidents at HC-One’s St Clare’s Court Care Home in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, decided to spend a fun morning on Friday making punch in preparation for their happy hour that afternoon.

They chatted away about their pasts as they cut fruit for the punch, as well as talking about what fruits they like and which drinks they prefer.

The punch went down really well with all the Residents, whilst they enjoyed a game of bingo and a sing-a-long.

Joyce Teasdale, a Resident at St Clare’s Court, commented:

“I really enjoyed making the punch, but the tasting was definitely the best bit!”

Resident Gwen Copper commented:

“I liked cutting the fruit up, it reminded me of when I used to cook.”
