This month two of Residents of Aston House care home, in Hayes, Alice Emamalie and Marion Hickmore, participated in the Hc-One Wisdom Contest.
The contest promotes a different wisdom theme every month. The theme of this month was ‘Friendship’.
“It was nice to hear our Residents’ inspirational and wise words of wisdom. They were happy to give their presentation and to see their presentation being video recorded and were all the more happy when the video recording was played to everyone in the lounge,” explained one Colleague.
Alice said she can't wait to give her next presentation and has started working and preparing herself on it. Marion too says she feels appreciated for being able to express her thoughts and feelings; both said they can't wait to look forward for presenting their next theme on Marriage.
Seema Sandeep-Jose, Home Manager, said, “It's good to see our Residents engaging in such a wholesome contest that are indeed encouraging and boosts the confidence of Residents.”
