Foxton Court raises over £220 at themed coffee morningEarlier this month, HC-One’s Foxton Court Care Home in Morpeth, Northumberland hosted a coffee morning to raise money for their Resident’s comfort fund, using the idea of blue marshmallow and dressing in blue.

Families and the team at Foxton Court were generous with their donations when they attended on the day. The atmosphere in the home was brilliant, with smiles, laughter and most importantly cake flowing throughout.

A raffle was also on offer with prizes including an afternoon tea, a local bar meal and a butcher’s voucher which were donated to them by local businesses.

Residents loved being involved and helping out on the day and particularly enjoyed eating some of the cakes with their morning teas and coffees.

Everyone was overwhelmed by the kindness of others and how much money was raised in order for them to continue to enjoy their days out. In total, a fantastic £220 was raised.

Foxton Court’s Home Manager, Edwin De Leon commented:

“It was a brilliant morning and everyone was extremely generous with their donations.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the Residents choose to spend the money, which was raised for their comfort fund.”
