Foxton Court celebrates Resident’s 99th birthday in style Foxton Court care home in Morpeth put out all the stops to help celebrate Resident Mary’s 99th birthday.

Mary was joined by family and friends as she celebrated her special day, where she was treated like royalty by the whole Foxton Court team.

After dressing up in her best clothes for the celebrations, Mary was delighted to see that staff had decorated the lounge with a vintage theme, including balloons and banners, to mark the occasion. She was also very happy to have a plate of her favourite food, fish and chips!

Mary had a number of loved ones visit her throughout the day, but her smile lit up the room as she saw her grandson walk through the door.

Mary said: “I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my birthday celebration, particularly having my family come in to visit while I ate fish and chips and birthday cake.”

Louise Dey, Deputy Manager at Foxton Court, said: “We make every effort to celebrate Residents’ birthdays in the most special way possible. It was lovely to see Mary’s face light up as she was joined by her family for the party.”
