Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Fosse Way View care home in Bingham, near Nottingham, joined fellow Resident Margaret Scott and her family to celebrate Margarets 103rd birthday.
An enjoyable party was held on the afternoon of Margarets birthday at the 70 bed, state-of-the-art luxury residential care home. Margarets children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were all in attendance at the event held in the Bluebell Lounge, one of Fosse Way View’s communal living areas decorated with colourful balloons - which Margarets great-grandchildren took a great deal of enjoyment from!
Fosse Way View’s kitchen team made a special buffet tea with all Margaret treats for the occasion, enjoyed with glasses of prosecco and sherry to toast the birthday girl. Margaret's family also brought in a birthday cake for everyone to share.
Residents delighted in sharing Margarets special day with her...and of course enjoyed a slice of cake! One Resident said: “I've really enjoyed this afternoon’s party; it has been really nice meeting with Margarets family and chatting with them.”
Margaret’s family also enjoyed the party, with one of her children saying: “We are absolutely delighted with the wonderful preparations made for mummy's birthday, it was such a special occasion, and the food was delicious.”
