HC-One’s Finavon Court care home in Forfar received an early Christmas present in the form of a generous donation from local powerlifters, Brett and Dexter Hampton.
Brett and Dexter opened Valhalla WLC, the first 24/7 gym to open in Angus back in November in 2017 and established their own powerlifting competition to offer a competitive environment for local people who want to push themselves in a supportive and friendly setting.
The brothers held their first Valhalla Classic powerlifting competition and donated the earnings from the event to Finavon Court, where their late grandfather, Gordon, staying until his passing.
Brett and Dexter visited the home in December to present a cheque for £200 to Residents and team members, everyone thanked the men for their generous donation and wished them a Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2020.
